About The Guide
In the Fall of 2010 I launched my first Kickstarter campaign for a project I was very passionate about, sharing a family story. My project almost didn’t make it but I learned a lot about what it takes to successfully launch a creative project online.
The guide contains everything I wish I knew when I started out. It is more than a Kickstarter “how to” manual (because you can get that anywhere), it is a look at how you can use Kickstarter for your creative project or business. It is some of the best work I have ever done and I know you are going to love it.
Over the next couple years I will be gradually reducing the price of the E-book and Backer Editions. I’m doing this because of the abundance of crowd-funding information, not because I think the guide no longer has value. You can read more about it here
This 76 page guide will give you a thorough understanding of the site, its functionality, practical usage, audience, and strategy. You get the guide in all e-reader formats (Kindle, e-pub, and PDF.)
You can also download the e-book at any of these online bookstores:
Kindle • iBooks • Sony Reader • Nook
An in-depth look at what makes a Kickstarter campaign successful. Based on the interviews, each case study breaks down exactly what contributed to the project’s success, and will give you some specific tips that you can use to push the odds of success in your favor.
Over the course of several campaign I have developed several spreadsheets to help me figure out funding goals and track the progress of my campaigns. You will get access to these spreadsheets which you can use on your own campaign.
